We are seeking an exceptional Director of Sales to be our first full-time sales hire and develop and drive our net new sales structure. This person will be focused on developing a strong net new pipeline from scratch while developing relationships with senior level external decision makers. You will thrive in a performance driven culture and have a proven track record of success closing 6 figure deals.

CodePath is an education technology nonprofit driving diversity in tech by addressing the 80% Computer Science (CS) dropout rate of minority students on college campuses. We are building a world-class team and seeking a Director of Sales to be our inaugural Sales hire to help develop and execute our sales strategy.
By providing opportunities for students in underserved populations to take multiple years of rigorous, in-person programming courses for free and matching students to employers, CodePath eliminates the barriers underserved populations face to get jobs and thrive in technical careers.
Students often tell us that our industry-trusted, project-based courses are their favorite CS experiences. Professors love that we handle curriculum updates, grading, and student technical support. Best of all, our courses are free for students and universities making us the first organization to offer multi-year, in-person technical education at scale and completely free.
Have strong individual contributor responsibilities with ability and willingness to grow into management
Own the sales cycle from start to finish - from discovery to demo to negotiation to close for complex products >$100k ARR (average 12-18 months)
Build and maintain a pipeline through both inbound and outbound contact with prospective customers - Fortune 1000s, medium to large software companies, and start-up organizations
Work closely with marketing and product teams to produce compelling new sales enablement content
Lead discovery calls with all prospects and build effective business cases for a broad range of audiences (from C-level executives to HR to VPs of Engineering)
Network across our industry to develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers
4+ years of sales experience in a similar capacity, including enterprise sales. You have sold in the $50k-$200k ARR deals and/or sold to Fortune 2000 companies
Experience managing full sales cycle from sourcing initial conversation to bringing on a new customer
Familiar with the Challenger sales process
Proven track record of managing and closing multiple 6 figure deals simultaneously
Experience selling to C-suite executives, VP’s of Engineering and HR executives
Strong aptitude/interest in data, technology, and learning
