About the Role

CodePath is seeking a Marketing and Sales Operations Manager to monitor, measure and analyze the effectiveness of our student, university partnership and employer acquisition initiatives. This person will work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Fundraising, University Expansion teams and the CEO to ensure that our marketing, revenue and partnership efforts are optimized to deliver high quality leads, increase the predictability of our revenue streams, drive efficiencies, and improve our forecasting capabilities.

As a Marketing and Sales Operations Manager, you will help create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. You will also conduct complex data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. CodePath is an early stage edtech nonprofit that is at an inflection point for dramatic growth. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once and serving multiple stakeholder groups.

About Us 

CodePath.org is an early-stage nonprofit dedicated to offering an accelerated pathway into the technology industry for college students all across the US, with an emphasis on serving underserved, low-income, and first-generation students. We offer a variety of courses and services to students both directly on-campuses at colleges and remotely using video classrooms with instructors and TAs. All of these courses and services are offered to students entirely for free, funded directly by the technology industry in order to invest in the next generation of talented software engineers.

Our vision is that every student in college, regardless of background or personal circumstances, should have the opportunity, skills, network, and pathways available to become a confident and successful software engineer in the tech industry. CodePath.org develops and delivers a wide variety of programs and supports students over multiple years, reaching students in college starting before Freshman year and then all the way through to post-graduation and entering full-time software roles.

CodePath.org provides curriculum and programs for college students all across the United States, often offered for-credit at campuses, including at many HBCUs, HSIs, women’s colleges, and state colleges. Requirements

Key Activities

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (HubSpot) used to generate, distribute and report on leads
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing, sales and partnership activities, effectiveness and business impact
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database. Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize team performance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience leading marketing and sales operations
  • Strong proficiency in HubSpot, which serves as both our marketing automation tool and CRM; also has an understanding of other tools and platforms to potentially integrate with HubSpot to deliver a compelling customer experience to our stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel), and experience with reporting and data analysis
  • Ability to synthesize data and create visualizations to help key stakeholders understand root causes behind trends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with, training and influencing others to employ data management best practices
  • Knowledge of and prior B2B/B2C marketing/sales experience a plus, particularly technology and engineering leaders, HR leaders, CSRs, Chief Diversity Officers, etc.
  • Technically proficient, excellent communicator and a desire to help a fast-growing start-up create repeatable and scalable processes
